The Mohegan Line and the community will gather together on Friday, Nov. 11, for a day that honors veterans and active-duty soldiers and provides valuable resources. Betts Rock at Mohegan Line will host job fairs, veterans service organizations, and other resources. Veterans and active-duty soldiers can pre-register for this year's event through its website. Pre-registration of Save a Suit is also available for veterans and active-duty soldiers. Save a Suit has been a partner of Betts Rock since 2017, and it has more than 1,000 veterans and soldiers.

the opening ceremony Betts Rock 2022 will kick off at 1:30 p.m. at The Shops at Mohegan Sun with special remarks from invited dignitaries, followed by performances from the Mohegan Tribe Color Guard. Celebrity chef Robert Irvine will be attending to receive donations from the Betts Rock Foundation to benefit the Robert Irvine Foundation. In addition to financial support from top-rated military and first responders, the Robert Irvine Foundation supports our soldiers, veterans, first responders, families, and those in need through its Resilience, Health, and Wellbeing program.

Betts Rock Expo Guests are invited to participate in the free Betts Rock Expo from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. inside the Uncas Ballroom on the Mohegan Sun, located in the Sky Convention Center. The expo features more than 50 veteran service organizations and job fairs. The Save-a-Suit program alone will ensure that veterans and active-duty military personnel are dressed professionally to go home. Save-a-Suit will also receive donations from guests at the entrance to the Uncas Ballroom.

Following an event at the Uncas Ballomy, veterans can head to the cabaret theater for the Big and Tall Comedy Tour. Featuring Big Ern and headliner Mike Bova, who quickly became one of the funniest shows in comedy, the tour plays the American Regions and VFW, raising money for veterans in the U.S. Tickets to see the fun dynamic duo cost $35 and are available through EventBright. Mohegan Sun regularly offers military discounts to all active-duty soldiers, veterans and military dependents at more than 40 stores and dining venues across the resort, both past and present, as a thank you to soldiers.
